June 6th, 2005. The LVFD is setting up for a controlled structure burn of a house and two outbuildings. The water tanker parked to the left holds 6,500 gallons and the drop-tank's capacity is 2,100 gallons.

The main house is fully enfulfed and the crew to the right is trying to keep a nearby utility pole cool.

June 6th, 2005. There were some off and on rain showers towards the end of the burn. Garret Jones is "supposedly" testing the deck monitor on Engine 1. We think he's having fun drenching the unsuspecting types who believe it is sprinkling just a little bit harder.

Floyd Fisher near one of the partially engulfed outbuildings. In addition to the house, there were two additional, smaller structures requiring burning.

Dusk is at hand and here's another dramatic shot of the above structure.
